Training and experience
I am a fully insured, DBS checked integrative counsellor and life coach, based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. When I am not working, I enjoy volunteering, and love to spend time with family and friends where you will often find me immersed in nature, or enjoying creativity in a myriad of different ways.
My own experience of bereavements and transformative journey through grief and counselling inspired me to become a counsellor and help others find hope and healing after loss.

I am a Waverley Abbey College (Middlesex University) trained counsellor and Animas Transformational Coach (ICF accredited), registered with both BACP and ACC.
I am trained to use Guided Imagery and Visualisation – effective for conditions such as anxiety disorders, addiction, anger, stress overload, trauma, depression, chronic pain and much more, as well as the Rewind Technique used for treating trauma, PTSD, and phobias.
As a former teacher, and nurse with 15 years’ experience of working with patients and relatives in palliative care, I bring unique experience to the therapeutic relationship.
To ensure an individually tailored, and neuro-affirming approach to the therapy or coaching, I integrate a range of different styles of working including Gestalt, solution-focused techniques, CBT, creative therapies, Transactional Analysis, person centred and psychodynamic therapy approaches. I also use the Human Givens approach to deep relaxation and trauma work.

My story
My own journey through bereavement and therapy inspired me to train as a counsellor and coach. I get how hard this journey can be, and having been supported by my therapist's hopes for me, my aim is to 'pay it forward' and support those who are now going through a tough time.
